Ways to Get Involved

You can make a real difference for the disability community.

Whether you're purchasing an item from the Ability Ministry store, picking up something from our online wishlist, or praying for residents by name, you're empowering more people with disabilities to become who God created them to be. Explore some of the options listed below to learn more and get involved.
Pray

Pray for residents, staff, volunteers, and churches.

We believe in the power of prayer! One important way you can get involved is to pray for our residents at New Hope and Riverwood. Pray for our staff and volunteers. Pray for the churches that support us. Pray for the churches that use our resources and curriculum to reach the disability community for Christ. Pray for those who come in contact with our ministry that we will be the hands and feet of God.

Donate

Make a donation that has lasting impact.

Your generous gifts and donations help us to continue providing Christ centered residential care and encouragement to churches and families dealing with disabilities. Through your loving concern, we can also expand our effectiveness and our circle of care to many new families and individuals. All donations are tax deductible.

Shop

Shop for our residents.

Our residential group facilities, New Hope and Riverwood, require a lot of supplies and items on a daily basis.  Many have asked what items we need the most, which is why we have put together a want/need list via Amazon.  You can shop these items and have them shipped directly to New Hope or Riverwood.

Because Jesus' table is accessible for everyone...

We desire to see the Church make room for all people affected by disability. To fully participate. To fully partner. To fully lead.

We exist to equip and empower the 25% of the population with a disability, their families, and their churches to become who God has created them to be.
